Maths Animation

This week in maths we were working on slide animations. We put together a variety of slides to explain what perimeter and area are and how to find them. I focused more on how to find the area of a triangle. I used around 27 slides to form this animation. This wasn't too difficult, because it was mostly duplicating slides and adding a small detail every time. This is a lot like stop motion animation except a different site, and instead of using lots of photos you use lots of slides

Probability - Dice

We have been working on our probability skills using dice. We found all the different outcomes when you roll 2 die, and the differences between the numbers. Sometimes when there is too many outcomes it is better to use a table opposed to a tree diagram.

Tree Diagrams

We have started to learn about tree diagrams and how we can apply them in every day life.

Probability

On Monday we began to learn about Probability. Probability is the likeliness of an event occurring. You can measure probability with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
