Probability - Dice
We have been working on our probability skills using dice. We found all the different outcomes when you roll 2 die, and the differences between the numbers. Sometimes when there is too many outcomes it is better to use a table opposed to a tree diagram.

Tree Diagrams
We have started to learn about tree diagrams and how we can apply them in every day life.

Kiwiana
This term in social studies we have been learning about kiwi culture and all its different aspects. For two days we travelled to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to expand our knowledge of kiwi culture. At the treaty grounds we used the resources in the Digital Learning Centre. They had tiny creepy robots, virtual reality, green screen, stop motion animation, sculpt GL, Paint 3D, and Tinkercad.
We went for a hikoi around the grounds and looked at all the history and carvings. We returned to the Digital Learning Centre and used sculpt GL, Paint 3D, and Tinkercad to build/paint/sculpt things that we think represent kiwi culture. We then transferred our designs into our VR world.
